Venturing Crew 9300

What is Venturing?

Venturing is a new "old" co-ed program of the Boy Scouts of America. Originally part of the Exploring Division, it finally came into its own in 1998.

Why?

As our youth progress through the program and advance their skills, we would like to foster a continued interest in archery while encouraging growth through leadership.  What better way to do this than to offer an exciting opportunity for our young adults centered on leadership, confidence building, and high adventure?

Meetings? Ugh!

Remember, Venturing is youth led.  Part of leadership is planning.  The meetings help establish expectations and gives an opportunity to coordinate activities and logistics.  To make it more fun, we will also have access to the archery range in every meeting and facilitate "fun" shoots.

Who is it for?

The crew is open to LHYA members and friends who are 14 or over and want an active role in planning, communication, and logistics of our crew activities.  The activities are designed for both crew and non-crew friends of the program including LHYA member and friends, other venturing crews, and guests.

Recent Activities
