What are the difficulty levels for the JOAD program and how do you score the target?

Youths in the Little Hills Youth Archery JOAD program are awarded medals or certificates for achievements earned  in this program.

Each youth grows in archery at his or her own rate and abilities. Archers begin at 9 meters (approx. 10 yds) unless they have prior archery experience and want to shoot from the furthest distance of 18 meters (approx 20 yds.). As archers refine their shooting techniques and raise to the Junior Archer level, once at this level when shooting for an achievement award they must shoot from the 18m (20 yard) line.

Levels to work towards are shown below with a minimum score  and distance to shoot from to receive the achievement award.

The round has 300 points possible (10 ends of 3 arrows  with each arrow worth 10 points each).

How to Score the Target Face

Indoor rounds use the 40 cm target face for compound archers and the 60 cm target face for recurve archers.
